The Miami City Ballers (MCB) knows basketball well. MCB’s primary objective is to develop a healthy environment for premier young, talented basketball players whose goals are to excel both on and off the court. MCB provides an environment for each player to be exposed to other teams in order for them to excel in their talent by playing in tournaments across the state. MCB hopes to help these boys develop the skills necessary for them to carry with them throughout life including discipline, self esteem, and confidence, while instilling in them values and sportsmanship.
MCB’s addresses the necessity to keep young teen boys off the streets by allowing them to do something they love; play basketball. It also focuses on maintaining good grades in school, while enhancing self esteem and discipline. The Miami City Ballers Travel Basketball team started out several years ago and has now grown to be a recognized name state wide. Throughout the years it has produced amazing players which have been able to go to various colleges on athletic scholarship.
